My role was to create colorful branding based on 3 main inspirations:

Geometric braids in movement (they looked to abstract shapes and Bauhaus design)
The logo and color palette of the 90s TV show Martin
Illustrations of African drums

R.A.C.E Matters SLO is a Black-led multicultural organization formed in 2016 to amplify Black voices and matters of racial justice. They organize an annual Belonging Event Series, a street party with vendors and live music, as well as a storytelling event to amplify local voices.
